I'm not a fan of Romney - but I do know what Obamacare is going to do to our company (and companies across the nation) and I hate it......so I hope Romney wins.

Oh, I'm voting Gary Jonhson

I read somewhere that they're expecting the Dems to take an early lead. Then all the Republicans will get home from work.

It was only intended to be funny, not profound.

I voted Johnson this morning, but 55%+ of SC will give its votes to Romney. I'd have voted differently if I still lived in NC, but I can vote my conscience here.

I tried to explain that to my siblings this weekend. Romney wins SC w/o my vote. I wouldn't vote for him anyway. So, I can vote my conscience, vote Johnson and hope he gets 5% of the popular vote.

I'll join you in voting Gary later today. I haven't voted yet.

South Carolina voters, how'd you vote on the amendment to our Constitution? I really don't care. I'll probably vote to keep the current law.

I voted no, or status quo.

A 'Yes' vote will require, from 2018 onward, the Governor and Lieutenant Governor to run on the same ticket and be elected to office jointly. As a result, the Lieutenant Governor will no longer preside over the Senate and the Senate will elect their presiding officer from within the Senate body.

A ‘No' vote maintains the current method of electing the Governor and Lieutenant Governor separately. The Lieutenant Governor shall continue to serve as President of the Senate.

My rationale is that I will probably want someone of the same party succeeding my governor in the event he steps down (it happens here  ) but it's very likely in a red state that they'll both be of the same party. I'd prefer that the Lt. Governor be the deciding vote in the state Senate.

My son threatened to vote for Joe. I told him he'd have to walk home from the voting location if he did.

He wised up.

SH- Did you write in Sarah Palin or did you vote Romney?
You must be the only person that wants Republicans to win so much that you vote for a Republican that wasn't even a candidate. :ohno: :ugeek:

For whatever it's worth, and I'm sure it's not much, every Presidential election held on November 6th, starting in 1860, has resulted in the election of a Republican.

A friends FB status
I love how the people that are complaining about how long the lines are to vote are the same people who were bragging about how long they waited for a chicken sandwich a few months ago...

Facebook has disclosed how many liberal friends I actually have. They are the only ones posting political crap on a site where half your friends don't agree with your politics.

I live in NC and voted for Johnson today. I just can't hold my nose and vote for Romney (same with McCain in 08).
