So many here, and where we all live are so consumed by tailor made 24 hour
news and caught up in all the partisan bullshit that goes on that some of us let it seep into our real lives, and cause stress among not only our friends but our families as well.
I see angry posts here about Obama this, Bush that, Romney something else I wonder if we afflicted are truly seeing negative impacts on our wallets, families, careers, etc that are actually real, and not just imagined or manufactured by us for whatever reason. For me, stats on unemployed, jobs created, underemployed, yada, yada, yada, really has no effect on me or my family whatsoever, never has never will. Our own situation and family economy has nothing to do with the crap on TV, the blogs, the football message boards, etc
It seems to me for some reason, when the country is howling the most about hard times, tight money, no jobs that I have more going on and more opportunity than I even want, conversely I have struggled when our so called "economy" is booming.
I like to banter here as much as anyone, and regardless what poster thinks they know more than anybody else in the world and just has to shove it up everybody's noses on message boards, it really does not impress me, nor does any of it make any difference in what is going on.
When I was a part of a 30 man volunteer fire department, one of the most annoying things that happened is that a couple of know it all fuck sticks just had to bring his ass hole politics down to the station and start preaching to everybody unfortunate enough to stop by for coffee about how he and Sean Hannity had all things in this world figured out, and those that disagree were somehow unamerican.
This is the kind of shit that is killing our country folks, carry on with the political hate, the extremism, and the one sided arguments, and see how many
friends still like to hang with you down the road.
