Biden reminded me of the rich drunk uncle who shows up at Thanksgiving or Christmas, gets shit faced, and makes an ass of himself. Everybody cringes and nobody wants anything to do with him but they won't say anything becasue they're scared of getting cut out of the will.

The irony of it is that Biden is actually very good, extremely knowledgable, and can communicate effectively. If he'd calm down the hystrionics his message would reach a bigger audience and it might stick. As it is nobody hears his message except for the red meat lefties.

It definitely felt like he was overcompensating for Obama's lack of aggressiveness against Romney.

This is the most important election to me EVER, why I got $40 on the black guy, it was 20, but when they came over for a bbq they tried to turn the channel from espn to fox news and I have that channel blocked, I told him porn was more informative than fox news and he got all irate and offered to double it. My step-dad doesn't watch the real most important thing in america, the NFL, So like Winthorp and Valentine we made a bet for the sport of it. No matter who wins we'll both still be able to do what we want whenever the fuck we want. He's in France w/ my mom right now complaining about how bad the economy is and that he wants to sell another rental house he inherited because he doesn't want to go through the effort of collecting rent checks(only got hosed out of 1 month rent in 6 years). He's a republican because, wait for it... they're pro life. So I always offer this bet to my family but no one takes it. They give me $20 each year abortion is legal I give them $1000 when it becomes illegal. Pointing out it has jackshit to do w/ anything when someone takes office. I am pro life but also know that's at the bottom of the to do list. I wish we'd get rid of the 2 parties and have 16 people run on whatever they believe, not what their party tells them to and make a bracket top 2 vote getters run against each other for Prez. We'd find someone more in the middle and more shit would get done instead of one side talking while the other goes lalalalalalalalalala not listening. Remember these people running want power and your vote, and that's about it. I am a Dem since my wife teaches, as did I, before I became a stay at home dad. The dems "benifit" us more, and gay people should be able to get a tax break, by being allowed to get married(Reps should have jumped on this, tax cut to get the gay vote). I was brain washed by my repub family for 17 years but figured shit out for myself(both sides are a bunch of lying, power hungry, dumbshits, that think they know what's best) after I left home at 17. Dennis Miller(Rep) made great point, there are 535 people in congress all but 35 are morons.

I'm for raising taxes on the rich, cutting gov, pro life, pro gay, pro union(otherwise the school admins would be worse than catty 8th grade girls about what teacher stays or goes, they already do that now as much as they can). I'm for gov. run health care if we can swing it, but if we can't, then no medical for the border bros while my american substitute teacher cousin can't go. pro letting the farmers use the full amount of water in CA and not giving a fuck about the smelt or whatever fish it is that might get hurt.

I'm FSA and I approve this message.

PS, If Romney wants to lock up this election, all he needs to do is get a signed agreement from China to waive our 16 trill debt for giving them the mormon secret of only having boys. 2 of my good buddies growning up(mormons) from fams w/ 5 boys 0 girls, 4 boys 0 girls. Romney 5 boys 0 girls. :D

I can't believe I agree w/ you about something. I hate Eddie Muster too, and he's a Packers fan, you have to really suck, to be a fan of a team I own and me hate you. Biden is Catholic too though, so how did your head not explode during the debate and the world instantly become a better place? Was it because you were watching Steelers/Titans like me?

Ryan impressed me for his grace under pressure. Here he is on a stage with a doofus who debates like an internet troll, and he remained remarkably composed, professional and serious.

I don't even look at social issues when I vote. Democrats and Republican's are both pro-life, it's the choice part that should not even have had to be a law, as people should not be punished for voluntary abortions. Teachers are getting ripped off by big education. Unions and Administration are sucking up funds that should be going to teachers salaries and student education. We do need to get rid of the 2 party system and have a party that will reform all this over-bloated bureaucracy. I'm voting against the marriage amendment in Minnesota as there should not be a law that defines marriage. Concentrate more on human rights than adding more restrictions for people via the law.

I pretty much am of the belief that what separates a Dem from a Rep are differences on 25% of the issues. Like you said, we are never going to touch those issues, so why the hell can't they get to work on the other 75%?

I always ask if a person got 3/4 of what they wanted out of our government, would they be happy? I have yet to meet anyone that didn't. I sure know I would and you can bet our government wouldn't be in the situation they are in now if they would JUST GET TO WORK on the 75% we all pretty much agree on.

Interesting side note. Mark Ginsburg was commentating on Fox News a couple of years ago and stated that when he was working with Al Jazeera TV, helping to cover the election, they kept asking him why we have an election because both candidates were the same. No big difference in their platforms.

My wife makes good money(63,200, yr 9,) at year 20 she'll max out at 85,000 but it will go up, when she started max pay at yr 20 was 79,000, enough where I retired at 32, 3 years ago. The union is like protection vs. Petty administrators that think they're god. My buddy had been teaching for 10 years(jr high), then district found out his son who lives w/ his ex was playing high school fb for the rival school so he became O-Line coach for his son's high school team, they moved him to the school in the district that is in the mountains 1/2 hour further from the rest of the schools and made sure he couldn't make it to practice in time so he couldn't coach his son. Another, admin was cheating on his wife w/ the sex ed teacher, she started talking to a different teacher, he was gone the next year, even though he was tenure. Admin said they'd call of the dogs if he just left. Same call of the dogs thing happened to my former classmate, she killed herself 2 months after they got rid of her.

They like to cockblock each other first term so that their party can get elected, if they make it to a second they seem to agree on more shit since the guy is out after term 2. I'm sure there is still cockblocking but its probably not as bad as the 1st term.

Can you imagine that **** pipsqueak Ryan in a room with Putin or insert any world leader exept for Britain here______?

What a pussy.
Could you imagine Biden in a room with Putin? Putin would let him laugh once, and then take his shirt off, mount a horse, and impale Biden. Then, he'd shave Biden's skullet and declare victory. I trust your fellow Catholic, Joe Biden, to put ash on someone's forehead on a Wednesday, but not in foreign affairs.

Ryan impressed me for his grace under pressure. Here he is on a stage with a doofus who debates like an internet troll, and he remained remarkably composed, professional and serious.
.....and he got beat and came off as an emotionless liar, caught up in a cult.

He did though not defend pedophiles and people who beat children. :thumb:

The fact that you were a teacher, or allowed anywhere near a school, is frightening.

Gil there is no need for us to talk politics we are brothers in Green Bay Packer love :thumb: . I'm an owner/shareholder, did you buy a share this time around or in 1997?
For every story you come up with about some administrators, one can come up with far more stories about poor teachers.

PS - you're classmate was weak...anyone who offs themself should not be a teacher or a role model. It is actually a good thing she isn't teaching...probably would whine about how helpless people are in the face of adversity. That's not the type of thinking we need in our schools. It is better for the children that you got out also.
