My favorite part.
Too bad Maher isn't funny. He is a douche. I will always remember the part where Christopher Hitchens told him his audience was a bunch of retards. He almost cried.
Link?

Didn't think so.

A bit inaccurate, too.

He looked like an old man off his alzheimers meds.

Nope. Searched first. Think I'd call you out if I could find it that easily?

Your turn.

God gives hope, which is a hell of a lot more than what being an atheist offers. By the way, when someone with alzheimers has issues, do they call the local atheist for help? Fuck no. They call the local church for support, prayer and care.

So tired of atheist stupidity.

No. My grandfather and my wife's grandmother got nothing from the church. It was the health care system and family, even the atheists.

There is a youtube video associated with my post above. It might not be showing up on your side because it didn't appear on mine at first either. Refresh the screen because it is now showing up for me.

I had actually just found a much longer clip of the same show. I just don't think your description of it is accurate. Maher did not almost cry. Come on.

The debate was a waste of time. It seemed like Biden got a lot more speaking time than Ryan, and I thought Ryan was too calm. I thought Biden had poor manners (laughing, overly dramatic body language, etc). Also got annoyed with Biden's tone of "c'mon guys, just trust us," .

Overall a waste of time and I'd say it was a push. Ryan kept a cool head even with the Biden antics but neither was overly impressive. Ryan was too heavy on the numbers and that will never connect with the common idiot voter. Still in the Gary Johnson camp here. :coffee:

Interesting. CBS polled more people and came up with a 50-31 margin of Biden winning. CNN's live poll had Biden winning by a large margin as well (something like 64-36). From social media reactions, it also seems like Biden was the clear victor. It'll be interesting as more polling numbers come out...

...not that any of it really matters when it comes to the VP debate.

Biden: 41 min. 32 sec.
Ryan 40 min. 12 sec.

Biden asked "who are you going to trust"? He didn't say "just trust us".

I'm going to say not many people watched this thing since I didn't even realize it was on until after the Os-Yanks game. Between that and Thursday Night Football, who wants to see a VP debate? Needless to say, I missed it. :(

Link to times? And Biden sure tried to pimp that angle. Especially when it was on the Medicare topic.

You're lucky, I want that hour of my life back. I'd actually trade that hour watching the debate for an hour of watching paint dry. Even if it is only the paint drying the government will allow me to see.

Every poll I've seen shows Ryan winning by five to ten points.
