The one good question asked during the press conference was if Ziady planned to stay awhile or if he was just using the position as a stepping stone like Muir did.

Ziady answered the question well, but let's face it: You don't ever turn down an offer to be the AD at Stanford. Can't fault Muir there. I just hope Ziady cares a bit more about the cash cow, football, than Muir did.

As has been discussed at some length on GoHens, I hope Ziady has the cajones to challenge the BoT to be more proactive toward the football program. I liked some of his comments regarding tradition, conference realignment, etc. He seems to be more in tune with what is important to Delaware football fans than Muir was. Time will tell of course.
