$296,000,000. NPR.

They're going to bite themselves in the butt on that one... the vote count on that was majority Democrat.

Hopefully but if you're Israel do you want to bet your country and your life on it?
Oh you mean the same country that refuses to disclose its nuclear program and sign the NPT? The hypocrisy of Bibi is astounding. I really wouldn't be surprised if Israel attacked Iran, Bibi would use a nuclear bunker buster to take out Iran's facilities. And let's not forget that most Israelis do not want to strike Iran. :thumb:

Not really. If the conks are concerned enough to have a hearing they should have been concerned enough to not vote for budget cuts.

I don't think A is possible, no matter who the President is.
Dick Gregory was right when he said words to the effect that if our system was so wonderful we wouldn't need to impose it at gunpoint because people would steal it.
:? What a fucking asinine statement. People have stolen it all over the world. The only places they don't is where the government has such a tight grip on their people they won't let them steal it. Holy shit. :dunce:

Agree. When religion is involved, stupid shit and atrocities usually follow.

Has nothing to do with religion Myron. Has to do with people who want to keep control of their population and actually believe they are right, smart and actually delusional enough to think they can either win the battle or get others to help them win the battle.

 You're trying to tell us that any country that doesn't subscribe to our system doesn't do so only because they can't? :lmao:

I would offer all of Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand as proof that you are full of shit.

Hell, voting is compulsory in Australia and they appear to like their system just fine.... :silly:

Stolen it? No, but plenty of countries have had our version of free-for-all capitalism forced on them as a condition of receiving emergency loans from the IMF. :ugeek:

Yes, really. It was a bipartisan vote for funds for infrastructure building and improvements. And as I said, more Dems than Republicans voted for it.

And finally, this funding had nothing to do with the level of human security. That's why the left isn't making a lot if noise about this; because they know its a loser. (But don't let facts get in the way of what you want to believe)
