Yes, GF, precisely. The transfer QB situation didn't make every one of our DBs look like they sprayed Crisco on their bodies before they tried to tackle Maine's receivers on the first drive Saturday. The transfer QBs didn't account for the fact that the left side of our O-line looked like a turnstile. The transfer QBs didn't account for the fact that no adjustments were made at halftime in Frisco or in NH nine days ago.

I wrote the UD Athletic Office with a promotion for the URI game which is Hoemcoming. In the kids zone before the game, kids will compete and see how far they can throw our starting center Jake Geiser. I measured him getting thrown 3 yards backwards in Saturday's 3Q when he landed on Sasek who fumbled the ball. Our OL is just bad right now....

I think our four boys and the one girl (was she yours too?) that were on the moon bounce on Saturday might have protected Sasek better than our O-line.

When did you guys go all drama queen on us? :silly: :silly: :silly:

Win 4 of the next 5 games and UD is a lock for the playoffs ... don't tell me, you're afraid of Spiders ??

:D

A good place to start would be beating Rhode Island this year

I can't speak for everyone, but for me, it was when I bought round trip airfare for two from PHL to DFW, hotel in Dallas, rental car, watched team blow 19-0 late 3rd Q lead in Frisco, then was first car not to make it out of parking lot before Secret Service held traffic for 45 minutes so VP motorcade could egress the facility.

That is when I went all drama queen, and I've been the best supporting actress for two years in a row now.

And I bet you weren't even able to get a refund on the airfare. :( :ohno:

I even had two victory cigars I didn't get to smoke, and I had them cut, so I couldn't return them. It was some bullshit.

Hey hey, I don't need a 3rd child, but yes, she was with our crew but wasn't ours. I will take a DNA test   But you're right those 5 kids probably have more fierce mean streaks.

I'm tired of hearing about well we didn't have a good practice on Thursday. The day that matters is Saturday, people get raises or get fired for what happens on Saturday. People on gohens goto practice and draw conclusions that don't play out on Saturdays.

Somebody cue Allen Iverson.

I also see people on GoHens actually making this point:

Keeler is a great recruiter. It's the position coaches who aren't developing all this great talent he's bringing in.

Are you fucking kidding me?

Who is in charge of the position coaches and the coordinators? Anyone ever heard of accountability?

Well in all honesty the whole staff is accountable. Each coach has territories they're responsible for, KC plays the role of the closer & the final decision maker. Once they do get to school though they have to be coached up - we're getting very few real studs at this level and if we do it's because the FBS schools wiffed on the kid. The other thing that the whole staff needs to do is to put the kids in the best position to win. UD's gameplan on both sides of the ball seems to resistant to change - to play to the strengths of the actual kids running it, and it's been that way for KC's tenure.

But you're right - KC is in charge of those coaches - he's talked well about his staff in the past but right now there are some glaring questions about what's going on, these next 5 games IMO will dictate what moves should happen this offseason.

The proof in the pudding is on Saturdays & we're coming up way too short for everyone's liking lately.

1st of all I'd fire the idiot who gave him 10 yr extension

Probably isn't another coach in the CAA who is on a 10 yr contract...

He's no longer there - UD is interviewing currently for a new AD.

I hear this hypothetical coach likes to squeeze the fingers when shaking hands.

No. That's the coach that hypothetically had a chance to beat LSU at halftime.

Ouch.

The KC defenders will always pull up the "he's been to the Championship Game three times", which I guess would make a lot of fanbases happy.

Yeah, he's also 1 for 3 in Championship Games, and then he has two or three shit seasons in between each appearance. Some of our fans are content with that. I'm not, especially when I pull out my checkbook each Spring to write my check for season tickets.

Fire his ass. It amazes me that Coach Mills at CSU is still employed. He's had 3 decent seasons out of 10 (2005, the only time they were #1 but they shared the title with CCU; 2006 they were 9-2; 2008 they went 7-5) 2010 they went 3-8, last year 0-11 and so far this season they are 1-4, beating Shorter University a D2 school in Georgia.

To be frank Id call him into my office and give him a speech that went something like this after some pleasantries:

"Alright, I dont want to just shoot the breeze too much coach. As you know, Im the new athletic director and having looked over the program the last 10 years or so, Ive seen that you won one NC and missed the FCS playoffs six of the last eight years. You are well aware of the legacy that this school laid through the football program yes? (await response) You are aware that you were brought in here to continue that legacy yes? (await response) I will put this very simply. Im well inclined to fire you right here and right now, but Im not going to. Im going to give you at least til the end of this season to get this team turned around. We can then talk about where we wil go moving forward at that point. Do I make myself absolutely clear?" (await affirmative response) "Good...I will be in attendance this Saturday so I will be expecting to witness a Hens victory coach...have a good day."

As always, I hope this Keeler fellow makes me eat my words and sentiments. It's just that the inconsistency is so tiring. Go to Frisco. Watch two or three years of bad football. Hit on incredible transfer QB. Rinse. Repeat.
