The result of his research is the short film SPIN, one of the most insightful films ever made about the mechanics of how television is used as a tool of social control to distort and limit the American public's perception of reality. Out here in California, when large parts of the state were burning and we had FEMA come out staging their "news conference" with their own people posing as reporters lobbing soft-ball questions. I don't know if anyone else remembers this:

Another example of media manipulation-

This was during the Libya NATO invasion- the reporter wants to make it look like he's in a war-zone, so he has a helmet and flack jacket on.. As soon as he thinks he's off air though, he starts to remove the superfluous helmet:

"Syria Danny" is paid to create interviews showing the "Free Syria Army" as saviors of Syria- he carries around the same rockets everywhere he goes, has been interviewed more than anyone in Syria, and he is often saying almost ver-batum the exact same thing on every interview he goes on:

I don't have time to watch it all now but I actually think it's pretty interesting. Not that it's anything surprising. Just that you get to see what's going on while people are in "not for public consumption" mode.
