Cal Poly 37-21 Weber — The Wildcats can't stay this bad, can they?

Saturday

NoDak 24-38 EWUThe UNDers are fully into their schedule gauntlet now

Idaho St. 28-42 Portland St.Bengal football recipe: Step 1 - Throw for a bunch of yards; Step 2 - Lose

Montana St. 28-20 UC Davis — Bobcats dodge another bullet

Sac State 24-35 SuutahThe T-Birds have forced 7 more turnovers than any other Big Sky team

Montana 37-17 NoCo — UNC's run defense is alright. Their offense, on the other hand…
Venus, I wish I could smack you on your score for the Sac State game. But given your prediction on the Montana game, I can't do that. When everyone else were so quick to call for a close game there, you were within a FG of being right on the nose. For THAT, :notworthy:

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Uh, thanks, I think… :? ;)

I basically get one game wrong each week. It was your team's game this time.

Disappointing letdown by my T-Birds but props to Sac State for fighting back, we will need to play better if we are to have a shot at Montana. :thumb:

I just noticed that ISUZU, Ranger? You mind if I borrow that? Let's just tack a "Joe" on the front of that.

JALMOND wrote:Currently I am sitting at 39-8 after a disasterous 3-3 record last weekend. This weekend actually begins on Friday with Cal Poly going to Weber State. Six games again this weekend with Northern Arizona sitting out. Here is my attempt at perfection and I certainly need it to get back in the game.

CP at WSU---As I said, this game is being played Friday night. The Mustangs are motoring along, having won all their games so far including Wyoming. They disposed of North Dakota on the road last week. They come to Weber State who had problems last week at UC-Davis, but looked good at home the week before. Looking good won't win, however...CP 28, WSU 20.

ISU at PSU---Interesting game here. The Bengals have a strong passing attack and the Vikings are weak defending the pass. The Vikings are well known about their rushing attack and the Bengals struggle stopping the run. Can anyone say shootout?...ISU 54, PSU 48.

UM at UNC---The Bears have had an extra week to get ready for the Grizzlies and the rest of the conference schedule. The Grizzlies did everything and then some to salvage the season last week at Eastern Washington. This may be the week the Grizzlies get it together and move on...UM 24, UNC 17.

MSU at UCD---The Bobcats continue to move on with their winning ways as they were able to outlast Southern Utah on the road last week. Now they continue on the road, this time going to UC-Davis who found an offense last week against Weber State to go with that stingy defense. This could be interesting...MSU 24, UCD 14.

UND at EWU---The Eagles, fresh from having their red turf snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat last week against Montana, now welcome the Dakotans to the inferno. UND looked great on the road two weeks ago at Sacramento State, then Cal Poly made them look ordinary last week. This week, another chance at ordinary...EWU 38, UND 28.

Sac State at SUU---The Thunderbirds actually looked pretty good at home last week, taking Montana State down to the wire. The Hornets exploded on offense last week in the barn at Idaho State. The trick is trying to get that same explosion against an actual defense...SUU 38, Sac State 17.
4-2 for the week, 43-10 for the year. Went against PSU. For how this year is going, they would have lost if I picked them to win. :ohno:

It was actually just a cut/paste job off of a previous post and I didn't even notice it until your previous post. I do remember the conmercials, though.

CP 45 @ 23 WSU - Dead on, just a score more for each.
SAC 22 @ 34 SUU
Sac 27 @ 22 SUU - Well, at least I was correct in someone scoring 22. :|
UM 42 @ 23 UNC
UM 40 @ 17 UNC - Pretty close, gave UNC too much credit... stupid turnovers.
MSU 28 @ 24 UCD
MSU 48 @ 41 UCD - Was close on the point differential, but gave both D's way too much credit.
ISU 38 @ 42 PSU
ISU 10 @ PSU 77 - WOW. I don't think anyone saw this pasting coming.
UND 30 @ 38 EWU
UND 17 @ 55 EWU - I didn't have a good feeling about this game, but our offense was extremely efficient. 6.6 per rush for us, held UND to 3.8, yet only had half the TOP as UND. Crazy game.
5-1, puts me at 45-8 on the year. Could I beat Jalmond for the first time? :)

SUU was solid, our D just stepped it up today. SUU front 7 really shut down our running game and it took some impressive runs by Safron to move the ball on the ground. I thought SUU had it when we punted the ball back to Sorensen with just over 2 mins left. Thank God Lawrence hit Sorensen while he was throwing and the ball landed in Badgers lap to clinch the game. Good luck the rest of the season.

It almost felt like both D's did half the scoring. Both teams got a pick 6, Minter was about a foot short of scoring with his interception....lots of very short fields
