Of course you can legislate patriotism. Haven't you heard of the Patriot Act. If you're against greater and unconstitutional government surveillance powers and the annihilation of due process, then you aren't a patriot. Maybe you need to be re-educated. Not a surprise. Obama's record on the economy is indefensible. Get him out of the echo chamber and challenge him on his actions over the last 4 years face to face and he'll fold like origami. Like he did last night.

I suppose one could argue that Reagan wasn't a neocon (and as Bush sullied the neocon name... most Reaganophiles try to take the label away from Reagan). But, neocons had a large influence on his foreign policy and I would consider him the first neocon president.
