Agreed. We should all just live in a complete vacuum from information in the 12 months leading up to the election.
Not an information Vacuum. There should be plenty of information on how the candidates think, what their philsophies of government are, what they would likely do, and background information on them to lend insight into all those things.
But I just don't think this constant polling stuff is a good thing in terms of how people make their decisions. Even the process. Like looking at how people are polling as a means of selecting debate participants. I think we'd be better off if people made their decisions on who they support without knowing anything at all about what "everybody else" is thinking.
