Re: Sport Network Top 25 - Week 5
If I'm not mistaken, there are no changes top the top 7 ???
Fair enough. I'm not sure the top Big Sky teams are as good as Montana State at #2 and Eastern at #7. Of course, Eastern won the Natty playing that just-barely-good-enough-to-win style now employed at both schools. But it's hard for me to say at this point either team is better than NDSU or Youngstown. I've seen both of those teams and been quite impressed. Not sure about ODU, they seem to have some defensive liabilities. But still, it looks like everyone has some imperfections, but the two top MVC teams look the best, IMO.

Re: Sport Network Top 25 - Week 5
Stony Brook climbs to 13. Exciting. I still think we need to win out the Big South to get the auto bid with bearly any chance for an at-large... but its still exciting for my team to be ranked so highly... The highest ever

First time I ever recall a 1-4 team in the top 25.

...and the one win against a Div II team. It's not that I think UNI is bad...I know they've played a tough schedule so far but c'mon.kemajic wrote:First time I ever recall a 1-4 team in the top 25.

Name 25 teams you'd honestly drop 10000 bucks on that would beat UNI this coming week on neutral field.mlbowl wrote:...and the one win against a Div II team. You got that shit right.LDopaPDX wrote: Not sure about ODU, they seem to have some defensive liabilities.
ODU can't play more than 30 minutes of defense in a game.
The Number 1 offense in the nation justifies the ranking for now. But defense will be needed in the playoffs. Money staying in wallet.

Why are you so offended...would you drop 10,000 on UNI vs. Montana? I think UNI's a good team...I just don't think 1-4 with a DII win belongs in the top 25 right now.
