Nice first half. I slept in an ASU shirt with my Armanti Edwards underoos on. I'm wearing one of my ASU shirts now with my black and gold Nike Shox. I've had:
Dogfish Head Punkin Ale
Newcastle
Sam Adams Light
Dogfish Head Punkin Ale
Trying to find that perfect combination of good luck charms......

TD Sac State. 34-23 lead late 3rd quarter. Much improved defensive play by the Hornets. Offense still looking ugly, but controlling the clock and wearing ISU down.
Georgia Southern officials have assessed 40 yards in penalties against Samford.

Hornet TD 47-23 lead with 8:37 left. That should finally put it out of reach. Hornet offense kept settling for FG's and I was getting a little anxious. The Hornet defense has completely shut down ISU in the 2nd half.

I got in in time for the fourth quarter. I'm not thrilled with Sac's offensive playcalling, but it has been adequate. I really thought that as soon as the score got to 37, Magleby should have made an appearance, but when that didn't happen, two big ISU turnovers in their own territory SHOULD have been immediately followed by a shot to the end zone, but they went up the middle twice instead. Additionally, the Hornets called up stretch on 3rd and 1 following the big INT return, and got stuffed, losing two. How come nobody wants to run quarterback sneak anymore?
We gotta make better play calls if we want to beat teams better than ISU....

4-1 start which I expected. The real schedule starts next week vs. richmond. Should be interesting to see if they can go 3-3 for the rest of the season. Most likely will go 2-4, but one can hope!
I don't understand this at all. ISU gets a TD and 2-pt conversion to make the score 47-31, then force Sac to punt. Then ISU punts the ball away on fourth down instead of going for it (they're only two possessions down). The straw that broke the camel's back came just one play later as Sac's A.J. Ellis ran into a brick wall up the middle, then broke it outside for a 62-yard touchdown to salt it away. It really looks like ISU has up and quit on us. I just don't get it....
