After the media was throwing them under the bus as domestic terrorists using "weapons of mass destruction", they were lucky enough to get a judge with a brain. Militias are completely legal, and the right to form a militia is guaranteed tor 1st and 2nd Amendments in the US Constitution.. At least there is one good judge out there.
Bogus statements like the group was "waiting for the anti-christ" and "hatching plans to kill police officers" were thrown around to contaminate public opinion of the group.

These guys were getting framed for something that is explicitly stated in the Constitution of the United States.. Watch out for future attempts at turning law-abiding citizens who want to protect their country into criminals.
