Skimmed through it. Better (for entertainment value) than Obama's UN speech.
Is this kalm's own blog, or a Mike Taibbi fellow-traveling group?

There is stuff in there that I agree with about reckless spending, balancing budgets, and the like. I just don't think "jailing the Bankers" is the panacea for our economic troubles.kalm wrote:An extremely successful conk business owner and friend actually posted this on her facebook page. For every banker you throw in the hoosegow, there has to be a politician. If Blankfein goes, Obama goes. Etc.kalm wrote:It's not...but it would be a great start...if you're against thievery and such.Ivytalk wrote:

I'm totally fine with that. The Obama administration should be investigated for corruption just like the Bush administration should have been.Ivytalk wrote:For every banker you throw in the hoosegow, there has to be a politician. If Blankfein goes, Obama goes. Etc.kalm wrote:

Sure hope you never have the unfortunate need to borrow money in your life. Would hate to see you have to sleep with the devil.Grizalltheway wrote:Heaven forbid, indeed. No worries, I'll be sure to do it through USAA or a local bank. You know, ones that didn't cause the economy to collapse.AZGrizFan wrote:Sure hope you never have the unfortunate need to borrow money in your life. Would hate to see you have to sleep with the devil.Grizalltheway wrote:

Glad you're doing your part by taking a higher interest rate on your loan. Attaboy.Grizalltheway wrote:No worries, I'll be sure to do it through USAA or a local bank. You know, one that didn't cause the economy to collapse.AZGrizFan wrote:

You can get everything cheaper at wally-world, but I gladly pay more to shop locally whenever possible.89Hen wrote:Glad you're doing your part by taking a higher interest rate on your loan. Attaboy.Grizalltheway wrote:

Also, my credit is pretty squeaky-clean, especially for a young-un, and USAA's rates are significantly lower than the big boys.

Wanna wager on that? I beat USAA like a drum seven days a week. Maybe you were talking about savings rates.Grizalltheway wrote:USAA's rates are significantly lower than the big boys.

So you must be a proponent of TBTF, monopolies, and government intervention in markets then...interesting.89Hen wrote:Wanna wager on that? I beat USAA like a drum seven days a week. Local banks and credit unions are good for some things. Low rates on mortgages isn't one of them.

Hey, I cant blame a guy for making a buck, but I figure you for more of a pro-competition and less tax payer backed and subsidized rate kind of guy...at least politically. That's the main point of the linked rant after all.89Hen wrote:kalm wrote:
