Is he wrong? Or is anyone that these ass-clowns are terrible? I think we should take some of the NBA refs. They could do a better job.
Goddell could find a bunch of blind men that could have officiated that game better last night.

In any event, I think that the issue at hand here isn't so much the presence of the scabs, but the ego that brought them here. Namely the out of control Roger Goodell. We knew he was just into ego when he made up his mind about the NO case before he even met with anyone. Now this. I think that it just might be time for the league to cut ties with this megalomaniac before he turns the NFL into the USFL....
Is it Goodell or is it the owners? I heard it was the Owners.
Then the ppl of Green Bay should declare war upon the officials then seeing as how they are the owners.

HUGE PI no call on Seattle, then an OBVIOUS interception by GB is ruled a catch and TD for Seattle. The GB guy had both arms, ball against his body...while the Seattle guy only had a hand and part of an arm on the ball. What a fucking joke.

Fuck the refs, fuck the NFL, and the biggest FUCK YOU goes out to the NFL owners, players, and REFS for not getting a deal done so we have this shit.

Disgraceful, is what it is.
I refuse to tune in to another NFL game until this is resolved, that is all I can do. Hope others feel the same, hope their revenue slides over this.

Wedgie, FCS football is a lot more exciting than the NFL anyway. Really! :thumb: Just like NCAA hoops is more exciting than the NBA.

I agree, and am disappointed in the relative lack of it on satellite tv, and we buy up the espn coverage. Generally there is one or two FCS games available, and usually they are teams nobody has heard of in bumble fuck east coast somewhere...

Unfortunately, the hunting partner's dad bought us the NFL ticket this season. :pissed:

Having seen the highlight involved, I agree with this.

Eh, People are just upset because the Replacement Refs haven't learned that all calls go for NE/Pitt/GB/Dallas.

Arizona and Seattle both got screwed out of Super Bowl wins by the supposed cream of the crop of regular refs.

GMA just reported that Clay Matthews went off on FB and Drew Brees on Twitter about this stuff. We're going to see widespread fines to prop up Goodell's misbegotten ego on this.

As GMA said, the NFL (i.e. Goodell) is fond of high-handedly ordering players to "respect the game," and now the entire sports world is jamming the same statement down Goodell's craw. It's about time....

At least some people on this thread can see through the "story of the minute" microscope on replacement refs & realize the regular guys sucked too.

Do I need to bring up the "tuck rule" to any Raiders fan?

The aforementioned "overtime coin toss game" to a Steelers fan on T-Giving?

Ed Hochuli to a Chargers fan?

I rest my case.

How did Arizona get screwed out of their Super Bowl win? I can't remember any crazy calls.

I'm sure there was something, I just can't remember what it was.

+1.

The same people complaining about the replacement refs were also damning the regular refs for the past several years. To hear them cry that we need the "regular" refs to protect the "integrity" of the game is just laugh out loud funny. Sanctomonius hypocrites!!!! It's all, as John Gruden said, just so "tragic". Seriously, you can't write this kind of funny crap!!

Refs are part of the game. At team needs to be good enough not to get in the situation that Green Bay was in last night. Chucky is just politicing for ESPN and the refs on strike. ESPN just needs something each day to talk about on all it's shows. The games over, time to focus on the FCS games this week, and the NFL will play again next Sunday.

Now it comes out that Seattle QB Russell Wilson REALLY got bailed out by the bogus officials. He apparently called the wrong play in that situation. Word is that Wilson called a waggle (that is, a roll-out, usually off a play-fake, that goes in the SAME direction as backfield flow) drawn up with receivers running short routes. This play is intended for the MIDDLE of the game to get the QB out of the pocket with a good view of the short zones. That's not the play you want in that situation.

Bailed out of a rookie mistake, indeed.

Spend the 20 bucks or whatever it is and get cable or dish or whatever. Skip 5 fast food lunches or 7 of those morning coffees and it is payed for.
More like $70 bucks a month (at least my cable & internet was $120/month when I had it over 3 years ago, got rid of cable and haven't looked back since).

As far as the play goes, a couple of things:
1) Bat down the fvcking ball you moron. That’s what the defender gets for trying to get a meaningless INT to pad his stats. :coffee:
2) Yeah the refs blew that call. However I do agree with the people pointing out the fact that people complained about the regular refs. I’ve watched the NFL less and less since 2006 and now its funny to see it “falling apart”.
