I kind of scratch my head over all of this. Somewhere along the way our culture has been hijacked by those who envy and wish to punish the successful. Heck, I want somebody who as successful as Romney to lead the country. If you look at Obama's resume and Romney's side by side objectively without any pretense of ideology there's no question who you would hire to fix the economy or set the tone for achievement in our country.

The person I really have a problem with- and every one of you should too- is Harry Reid. Reid took to the floor of the US Senate (yes the same senate where he hasn't managed a budget since 2008) and LIED to the American people repeatedly about a private citizen. In no way is this acceptable and he should be impeached- yet he has been given a pass for political and ideological expediency. He is not fit to serve and is lower than whale shit and is an embarrassment to his state, his party, and our country. He has got to go.

Mitt Romney's trustee said in a campaign press release that Romney artificially inflated his own effective tax rate so it would remain above 13 percent by deferring $1.75 million in charitable deductions. Romney had previously said that none of his last decade of tax returns dipped below that 13 percent threshold.

In an interview with ABC News in July, however, Romney dismissed the idea that he would ever pay more taxes than legally owed, saying if he did so he wouldn't be "qualified" to be president.

"I don't pay more than are legally due and frankly if I had paid more than are legally due I don't think I'd be qualified to become president," Romney said. "I'd think people would want me to follow the law and pay only what the tax code requires."
