Western Carolina @ Marshall: Blundering Turd 34-20. WCU sneaks up on em a little bit.

Montana @ Appalachian State: ASU 28-7. Yep. App offense looked good against EZU. Looked like two CUSA teams playing each other. Just control the turnovers.

Georgia Southern @ The Citadel: My brain says GSU 28-17. My heart says El Cid 24-21. We hit our field goals this time. I think it will be low and close like last year. If it is, I like our chances at home.

UT Chattanooga @ Jacksonville State: UTC isn't snakebit yet this year. They win by 14. That said, JSU put up some numbers against a ranked SEC team. Will be interesting.

Coastal Carolina @ Furman: Furple by 10. CCU isn't Liberty and dang sure isn't Stonybrook.

Lincoln @ Wofford: Wofford will score 44. Lincoln might score. Once.

NC Central @ Elon: Hmm. Elon drops this one. NCCU by 7.

West Alabama @ Samford: Sammy 32-10.

So, the school record 34 first downs and 588 yards of total offense were just luck? Or was USD THAT bad? You do realize ASU is missing their starting corner, their starting safety, their starting running back and their starting wide receiver, yes? Oh, and one of their starting O-linemen was injured as well, I believe.



If this game is 28-7, it won't be ASU winning.

Not necessarily luck, Nancy. But, USD is certainly no ECU. It's hard to judge UM based off of that win. Unless of course you think Oklahoma State's 84-0 win shows they're the best team in the country.

I heard a guy on ESPN yesterday say USC is still better than Alabama because they put up a lot of points....on Hawaii at home! Alabama beat Michigan like a hooker on a neutral site in primetime. I'm not impressed by USC's win.

With all of that said, no doubt UM could beat ASU. I hope it's a game like the past two with a much different outcome!

I'm not predicting an App blowout... but, I wouldn't have predicted one in 2007 vs. Richmond, 2008 vs. Wofford, etc. either.

Night games at Kidd Brewer have a way of making good teams look foolish.
