UND QB Braden Hanson left game with severly hurt ankle (possible broken) he was on the sideline in a boot and on crutches. I haven't heard the official word on the injury. I hope its nothing more than a sprain.

I would think he didn't get hurt late in the game. You may need him next week.

It was before halftime when he got hurt. UND was up 45-0 at the half. Backup Marcus Hendrickson did a good job. UND put up 650+ yards of offense including 178 yards rushing from RB Jake Miller. Of course thats against a DII team the real test comes next Saturday at the Potato Bowl against Portland State. In case nobody knows about the Potato Bowl:

The 'Jacks usually show up strong against the big Arizona schools and this ASU team coming in looked more vulnerable than usual, so I'm not sure what the deal is here.

Well, the game is still going on...but.

Padron is struggling in this game, but he will be a good one once he gets the system down. And in his defense, there have been a ton of dropped balls. He throws a really nice ball, is strong, and doesn't get rattled in the pocket.

Our O-Line is kinda young, but great size, and great depth. It's great watching them wear down Idaho's defense at the moment. I love it. Especially after all of the clowns on their board chirped about how they were going to wear us down with their 22 extra scholarships. It's EWU wearing Idaho down, not the other way around. And our running game will be better this season, especially after Bronson returns.

Our defense it pretty good, particularly the front 7 which has dominated Idaho's O-line for the most part. Our secondary has completely manhandled Idaho's receivers as well, so I think they will be a talented group.

Special teams, especially the punter and punt coverage team have been excellent. We have really been winning this game because of field position.

The real negatives have been all the false starts on offense that have been killing drives and the dropped balls by our receivers. Really frustrating. We should be winning this game by another couple TD's if we're going to be fair about it.

I know. I did a double take when I heard the Pac-12 TV crew say that. I'm thinking, even though they reported it, I doubt we will see him again, unless there is something the Jacks want to see that they haven't yet. I don't know what, nothing has gone right for them yet.

Again, as bad as Idaho is, I'm not sure I'd read much into how "good" the defense looks.

I agree on Padron though...real deal. Reminds me of Jason Murietta back in the day at NAU. The WORST thing you could do was chase him out of the pocket...he was fucking DEADLY on the rollout...

UND QB Braden Hanson out 2-3 weeks with a broken bone in his right leg. UND has Sr. Marcus Hendrickson as backup but after that 3 Freshmen but 2 of them are redshirted. Next 3 games for UND: vs Portland State, at San Diego State, at Sacramento State.

Padron needs some work, but the D was impressive, and running it down their throats the last 4 or 5 plays of the final scoring drive bodes well.
