He has a funny way of supporting teachers...

Tenure for life is an excuse to get worse at your profession and likely a reason why so many schools underachieve. Christie is against that - as a fan of education wouldn't you want the most qualified and best teachers educating your kids (if you had any)? You shouldn't have to fork out huge amounts for private k-12 programs if the public school teachers are doing their best. We as a country don't invest enough in our existing teachers nor give them a lot of incentive to become one but IMO that's not tied to a particular party.

Have you noticed that when you have a conversation with liberals you have to constantly explain the most elementary concepts over and over again? It's like talking to a 5 year old. You would assume that some things would not need clarification but you'd be wrong 99% of the time.

They have a government that has taken away a parent's ability to acutally PARENT by making corporal punishment = child abuse. People going to jail for spanking. People getting CPS called on them for spanking or yelling or punishing thier child. The nanny state has allowed the inmates to start running the asylum, plain and simple.

When Clinton and Gore were campaigning against Bush I, they were critical that Bush I did not take enough action against Iraq and Clinton and Gore pointed out the danger of Iraq's WMD's. When you argue one against the other, Dems and Reps both had their stinky fingers in the war.
