If you want to know the GOP talking points tune into Fox, if you want to know the Dem talking points tune into MSNBC.

CNN leans left, I think they try to appear neutral, but they are definitely left leaning.

It's hard to find unbiased news these days.
Cripes.......if you can't filter the B.S. out by now....... :ohno:
Where did I say anything about filtering out BS?

But, since you brought it up; I shouldn't have to filter out BS when watching the news.

Why don't you post the story that goes with the video that explains what was going on? Puts a different spin on it doesn't it?

A shouting match erupted on the floor of the Republican National Convention on Tuesday afternoon as Chairman Reince Priebus called for a vote to unseat several Ron Paul delegates.

Loud cries of “Boo” and” Seat them now” filled the convention floor as repeated calls to contest a credentials committee report fell on deaf ears after it passed by a voice vote. A majority of the delegates from six states were required to call for a roll call vote on the credentials report, submitting their intent to do so in writing in advance. Despite Maine the delegates’ claims, no such support came from their colleagues from other states.

The boos disrupted the speech of Puerto Rico National Committeewoman Zori Fonalledas, who was set to announce the nomination of Speaker of the House John Boehner as permanent convention chairman

Priebus repeatedly called on the crowd to silence themselves, as dozens of men wearing earpieces converged on the shouting Paul supporters — some delegates, and even more expressing their displeasure from the arena’s upper decks.

As Boehner moved to the report from the Committee on Rules and Order of Business, Paul supporters began shouting “Point of Order,” calling on the chair to recognize them for a motion. Boehner shouted over them, as other delegates tried to drown them out with chants of “U-S-A.”

This whole convention has been tainted by the Republican Party and what they did with Ron Paul's delegates in Maine. After hearing about that, there's no way I will watch any of that crap. :ohno:

And what do you have against Cooper? Him and Smith are about the only anchors that actually give the news without spin.

And the Israel thing doesn't matter since both Obama and Romney would do the same and help Israel take out the nuclear sites when Iran has shown no intention of building a nuke. :ohno:

Really? That's news to Condi. :suspicious:

From a source that I'm sure is one of the favorites in your bookmarks.....

Condoleezza Rice: U.S. Voice In World Affairs Has Been 'Muted' Under Obama

"TAMPA, Fla. — Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said the voice of the United States in world affairs "has been muted" under President Barack Obama, creating a chaotic and dangerous security environment.

Rice, who speaks Wednesday night to the Republican National Convention, sought to tout Mitt Romney's foreign policy credentials.

She told "CBS This Morning" Romney "would understand American exceptionalism and would not be afraid to lead from the front." Rice says the election is about "the future of American leadership" in the world. She said U.S. policy on Syria has been ineffective. Asked what she thinks President Barack Obama has done wrong, the former Bush administration official said Washington has been losing influence around the world because Obama has repeatedly demanded that Syria's Bashar Assad step aside and nothing has happened."

Tenure for life is an excuse to get worse at your profession and likely a reason why so many schools underachieve. Christie is against that - as a fan of education wouldn't you want the most qualified and best teachers educating your kids (if you had any)? You shouldn't have to fork out huge amounts for private k-12 programs if the public school teachers are doing their best. We as a country don't invest enough in our existing teachers nor give them a lot of incentive to become one but IMO that's not tied to a particular party.

It's tied to the party that won't kill the Dept of Education and is beholden to the teachers unions. :coffee:

True....unions were necessary at a point in history, but their impact to education and US manufacturing has had some pretty dire consequences.
