What does that have to do with MSNBC's coverage? Or Rachel Maddow's manly hotness?JohnStOnge wrote:Basically the Republican Party is the Party most whites vote for and the Democratic Party is the Party most non whites vote for.
I don't know why there is a tendency to criticize the Republican Party for the fact that most "minority" voters don't vote for them. One could just as well question minority voters who vote like zombies overwhelmingly for Democrats every time.
No Democratic Presidential candidate has won the majority of the White vote in a Presidential election since at least as far back as when Nixon ran against Humphrey in 1968. Not even Clinton. And it's not just White men over 40 either. For example: In 2008 the majority of White men voted against Obama and the majority of White women did too. So did the majority of every White age group except for the youngest one (they'll know better when they grow up).
Why is there something "bad" about White people supporting Republicans but not something "bad" about non Whites supporting Democrats?

If I lived in section 8 housing, had to pay no rent and got a government check to buy my food and pay for my lights, why would I vote Republican? More people on food stamps and disability since THE MAN took control of DC in 2009? klean, are you proud of that? Are you proud of the fact that more blacks are unemployed under a BLACK president? Are you proud of the fact that the founder of Planned Parenthood back in the day supported the abortion of black children? Are you proud of that? If so, hey man, keep voting democrat brother! Knock yourself out. I do not see how ANY self professing Black CHRISTIAN can support a president who endorses and encourages abortion, even in the black community.
I don't get it, I will never get it, but one day, you aren't gonna be able to blame the white man any longer.

Just like the word "diversity".
If Newt Gingrich said the Democratic Party needs to "lighten up" Chris Matthews would be spraying spittle accusing him of raaaaaaaacism and using code words. You'd be right there agreeing with him.
Just about everything you post is racially oriented, do it is safe to assume that when you are being ambiguously racist, you are just being plain racist. If you were more intelligent you might be able to mask it better.

It was posted on a social networking site by one of my old frat brothers who was born in Cuba and is die hard conservative (like almost every Cuban) that a couple of the conservative media watchdog groups watched MSNBC last night and noted that MSNBC did not show ANY of the minority speakers who addressed the convention.
Is this true???

I agree with that completely, but it wasn't my point. Guys like Klean throw that around and play the race games 24/7 and I don't let that crap go unchallenged. If pundits on the left are going to sit there and invent "code word" and "dog whistle" conspiracies they need to own the fact that they are precisely what they hate.Skjellyfetti wrote:GOP does need to open itself up to more non-white males.CID1990 wrote:

But back to what you said: the GOP is more than welcoming to minorities. The ones that do come off the Dem plantation are treated to the red carpet. They have a very long way to go but it is happening gradually.

I am glad the GOP is wealthy, wise and white. If the section 8 crowd had half of that brain capacity, they would've realized the Democratic party shuttled them into high rises in urban settings years ago to keep them under control. They went from the plantation to the concrete jungle and as long as free shit comes in groves, the white libs have them right where they want them and they have the BALLS to call Republicans racists and slave owners??!!! Give me a fucking break!!!
God bless the smart ones like Rice, Cain, and Lynn Swann. klean, you still ain't answering my question! Why do black liberal CHRISTIAN pastors support the womb genocide of YOUR race?!
