Does that include her teeny bopper laugh for the first third of her speech?........or maybe you are speaking of her robotic last half reading her talking points?Baldy wrote:Thought Christie would be throwing a whole lot more red meat. In a 30 minute speech, you're going to pick on her giggle and your imagination drawing images in your mind about her "robotic" regurgitation of talking points? Only you, jeff.
From the early reviews I've seen and heard, a whole lot more people agree with my opinion than yours.

What is CNN doing covering a GOP convention anyway? Getting a bunch of talking points to go on the Democratic offensive until November?Skjellyfetti wrote:Highlight of the night:
GOP attendee ejected for throwing nuts at African American CNN camera woman + saying "This is how we feed animals."
The country is freakin' imploding, but let's worry about ONE person who allegedly did something racist and paint the whole party with it. The party of hope and change and tolerance.......

Highlight of the night for me was on the PBS coverage when they had John Barrasso from Wyoming on and Iffel, Woodruff, Shields and Brooks kept trying to corner him and he hit every question out of the park. I've NEVER seen such partisan treatment of a guest. Not on Stewart, O'Reilly, Maddow, etc... and he nailed them.

Re: RNC Speeches
MSNBC is just funny watching them rip Christie after his speech for not supporting Romney enough - they're already on the 2016 defensive.
That being said, if Christie would've run in 2012 I have little doubt he'd be our next President.

CNN is as far left as Fox is to the right. That's why I read/watch both, knowing the truth is somewhere in the middle.Grizalltheway wrote: Gee, I can just picture conks foaming at the mouth if CNN had decided not to cover it.![]()

The really sad part is, you can't trust any of the news media folks any farther than you can throw their news vans. I've seen it too many times and just know they tell what they want and not the whole/real story. I guess they sleep at night saying they have a product to sell.............ASUG8 wrote:CNN is as far left as Fox is to the right. Re: RNC Speeches
If that's true, then MSNBC is off the chart. Chris Matthews' conduct this week would have gotten him censured (and possibly pulled) at any other network. Even Tom Brokaw wouldn't defend his comments towards the RNC chair.ASUG8 wrote:CNN is as far left as Fox is to the right. Twenty rofl's don't make it not so. Soledad O'Brien, Ali Velshi, Charlie Rose, George Stephanopolous, Chuck Todd, Andrea Mitchell, David Gregory, and plenty more examples across other networks....you can counter with examples from Fox, but ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN are in the prez's pocket.Wedgebuster wrote:Cracks me up that conks declare any news service what so ever as leftist, if it is not Fox.

Here's a link to David Chalian, formerly political editor at PBS newshour, now working for Yahoo News. This little snippet came from an ABC-aired broadcast. He's channeling his inner Kanye West in this objective, racially sensitive comment from the progressive party of hope and change.

The thing about MSNBC and Fox News is you know what you are getting with them..........they each have engaging personalities to listen to and laugh at. I just don't trust CNN..........
