A couple things....

1. Pregnancy as a result of rape is "rare". Depending which "legit" study you look at the rate is between 4-5%.

2. The female body does have ways to fight off pregnancy, but that has nothing to do with rape. I don't remember the exact numbers, but Discovery did a think a while back on the journey of a sperm. Something like only 25% of sperm actually survive ejaculation, and about 99% of all sperm are dead within 12 hours of ejaculation, by the time they reach the egg there is only a dozen or two left swimming. The vagina is an extremely harsh environment for a sperm to survive in during ideal conception times. I could imagine a body under stress makes it that much harder - which is why stress actually makes it harder to conceive.
