Let me be clear, the MAJORITY of posters did not take this POV, but...

Wow. I've been over at eGriz today, reading some of the comments regarding the charge of "Forced Intercourse" by Jordan Johnson. I read the motion to dismiss as well, and I've come to the conclusion that the people that are posting online in support of Johnson may in fact be horrible people. Here are some comments from the boards:

"If JJ is convicted beyond reasonable doubt... there is something really wrong with our justice system."
"Did they really have to include the part that said JJ only lasted a couple of minutes? I'm sure he didn't want that info out there."
" I thought it was kind of hokey before. Now, I am certain that this is a crock of stool. "
"...if she was afraid of being hit by JJ and just let him finish, then why would she give him a ride home?"
"He didn't want to invest to much time and just took it because he could. It pissed her off, hurt her feelings and here we are."
"Even with JJ, who knows what femi nazi could take what is public knowledge, and use it to cause him problems, too?"

And the pièce de résistance
"...who is to say the abrasions were not caused by her pleasing herself with her own toys?"

Read the motion. It contains such gems as ever so cleverly suggesting she had it coming by selecting the movie "Easy A" which is "a comedy about a young woman who lies about fictitious sexual escapades to gain popularity," and throws up the straw-man that she may have been treated for depression, anxiety and PTSD in the past, which obviously leads to false rape accusations.

I'm not saying he's guilty, but a motion to dismiss filed by his own legal team, in his own words, certainly does not prove anything near innocent. It's very sad to see people so quick to vilify a potential victim, just because the alleged attacker is good at a game. Shameful

I recently quit the Egriz because I came to the same realization. Although there are good people over there, I was tired of knowing that some of the nice things I brought to the Egriz were being used by retched people.
