I would guess that you might see similar support for a proposal to take away tax refunds for people who don't pay taxes.89Hen wrote:Why shouldn't it be? Once people figure out they can vote to take money away from other people and give to themselves...Skjellyfetti wrote:

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.
It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

Rasmussen Poll: Romney up by 5 points
I'm not a pollster, but do you realize that if registered voters are 9, 8 or 6 % higher in Dems than Reps, then that's how they'll poll? It's a social science, they don't just randomly call people.BDKJMU wrote:You're apparently basing that off of Quinnipiac, and apparently you missed this part: "Over sampling of Donks by 9% in Ohio, 8% in Florida, and 6% in Pennsylvania."bluehenbillk wrote:Is this thread serious? It just came out what 2 days ago that Obama is pulling away in FL & OH. I think he's close to a double digit lead in PA now, which despite the GOP's best efforts & voter ID changes, has no shot in hell going red for Romney.
I don't like Obama, but as of today, Romney has no chance. None.

But the poll was likely voters not registered voters. And I believe when they do likely they try to look at history to get a feel for the correct balance. Florida in 2008 was D+3 and it was even in 2010. D+9 is a joke.
If fascism ever comes to America, it will come in the name of liberalism. Ronald Reagan, 1975.

If that's the case then I agree with you, it's a joke. I just didn't see anywhere that that was taken into account.HI54UNI wrote:Tod wrote: I'm not a pollster, but do you realize that if registered voters are 9, 8 or 6 % higher in Dems than Reps, then that's how they'll poll?
