I am sure Col Hogan or Alpha will correct me on the date but general pop. AK/AR guns must be semi-auto after 198?. There are places that give away brand new AK's with new subscribers to cell phone/TV/Internet in Montana.

If you want a full auto weapon there are a few permits that you have to purchase, some background checks, and some more yearly permits you have to pay.

For instance,

Suppressor for a .223. $200 bucks for the permit which is just a stamp, and a background check and fingerprint. Couple months later you can pick up your suppressor.

A guy I know had a Dillon Mini-Gun. He had to pay yearly and 5 yearly permits to own it because it was full auto. He sold it in 2004 and bought a Ferrari and a bunch of property down South.

There are laws that regulate these type of things.

Ordered 500 rounds of .223 this evening...gotta get it before the panic buying drives up the price...

This will last two, maybe three range visits....
