True, Furman is in Traveler's Rest but was originally in downtown Greenville. Locally it's still pretty much claimed to be a Greenville institution.

I'm a little confused why Boone, Greenville, Davidson, Spartanburg, Cullowhee, etc. aren't in the Carolinas thread, but whatever. Davidson is actually a pretty cool little town.

Davidson is a cool town, but it's not in the Appalachians.

It was pretty tough to group them into regions, I was using this: http://www.championshipsubdivision.com/fcs-team-map/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Trying to list about 7-10 cities at time, it got pretty hard (wish a poll could be more than 10) Virginia and the Carolinas have a ton of teams..
