I'm sorry, but that Tiny Toons rendition looks like something someone making fun of the BigSky Conference would make.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

I kinda thought EWU was more bright red and SUU was more Scarlet... But yeah you're right, they're distinct. Cool that they kept each school with their own distinguished colors and still had room to make an original color for the conference badge itself.
Is the Big Sky the first conference to do this? I think it's brilliant. The logo itself has grown on me, too. Was "meh" at first, now I'm very pleased.

Maybe the first I've seen in FCS, but Pac-12 (Pac-10, then I guess) made their new logo adaptable to school colors circa 2010. Big Sky hired the same marketing company that Pac-12 used. Regardless of whether the logo design is good or bad, I agree the color adaptability is a great idea.
I like the new logo. I'll have to get used to it though. I wonder if UND finally feels out of the place with the new logo, you know with all of the mountains in it, etc. They're the only state in the conference without mountains.

In that case, I have some pristine Utah coastline you might be interested in.
OK Griz... trade you for some Arizona beach. 3 of the four corners - AZ, UT, CO. All 12 PAC schools in mountain areas. actually think DaCat's version is pretty good
