But banning the words? Evidently you're not a fan of science...or vaginas. Got it!JohnStOnge wrote:Bottom line is you're asking people to suffer billions of dollars of loss based on projections from unvalidated models. I think it's natural that you'd see some resistance to that.

That is NOT the kind of vagina exposure Kalm enjoys.SuperHornet wrote:I wonder if kalm got caught attending The Vagina Monologues.

Anyways, I got a good chuckle out of it...especially where he said "Climate Change" is a reality.![]()
Of course it's a reality, the climate has been changing for billions of years.
You're free to disagree, yt, but if there is one thing that is for sure, the climate is always changing.youngterrier wrote:Baldy wrote:

Our party is without issues unless the Dems trip over their own dicks, ala Clinton in his second term. We have no platform that more than 35% can subscribe to, so we are always fishing for a new hot button issue, hence getting bible issues out there to embrace.Chizzang wrote:Republican Social Agenda = Dark Ages
Why can't they stick to what they actually know something about..?

Studies of the correlation between smoking and cancer use more than one person.youngterrier wrote:ging, therefore we should ignore the changes and effects of smoking on our body because our body is always changing"

There is one minor difference. There is at least a scintilla of evidence or proof showing that smoking is harmful to the body.youngterrier wrote:"Our body is always changing, therefore we should ignore the changes and effects of smoking on our body because our body is always changing"Baldy wrote:

If I take an aspirin for the first time in my life because I have a headache and then drop dead of a stroke, the global warming logic would be that the aspirin caused the stroke.

Global Warming is all about physics.

Man Made Global warming killed Venus? Being 40M miles closer to the sun didn't do that?youngterrier wrote:Oh look at Venus why don't you.Pwns wrote:

This is just proof that you have no idea what the hell you are talking about by the wayPwns wrote:Scientific consensus = indisputable truth. Like when Tesla, Francis Galton, Ronald Fisher, and many other top scientists from the early 20th century insisted we needed eugenics programs to save humanity.
Also, there was no medieval warm period or any ice ages in history, either. That is all capitalist creationist catholic corporate-coal propaganda.

I didn't say that. Venus has (or had, rather) a greenhouse effect and it contributes to the high temperatures. My point is that the increasing CO2 in the atmosphere will trap more heat. That is a long established fact.andy7171 wrote:Man Made Global warming killed Venus? Being 40M miles closer to the sun didn't do that?youngterrier wrote: Oh look at Venus why don't you.
