It was widely reported that the SoCon had given ASU, CoC, Furman, and Elon an ultimatum to make known their intentions about the CAA by July 4th.
The SoCon says it never happened.
“Per Southern Conference policy, the league office will not be making any public comments regarding membership issues.
“Additionally, despite numerous published reports citing a July 4th deadline, the conference office has not issued any ultimatums to its member schools regarding conference affiliation.”
Now all the Appy fans can quit crying about the mean 'ole SoCon.
