A left-wing strategist has all but given up hope for November, reduced to "hoping" the old-hat strategy of "blame Bush" still has a little magic left.

At the beginning of this clip, President Obama has a pretty funny metaphor, comparing the GOP penchant for blaming him for the deficit to going out to a steak dinner, only to find oneself blamed for the high bill left by a previous patron. What he fails to understand, however, was that in the "real life" case, the table was set NOT by Republicans but by the dumb policies of Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank, and EXACERBATED by HIS stupid policies after his election. If he thinks voters are going to be fooled by ANOTHER round of "blame Bush," he's sorely mistaken. This strategist is just about ready for the excuse-making stage after Romney beats Obama in November....
