Danica may pull a Deion....
Remember when Deion Sanders played in a football game and a baseball playoff game on the same day in two different cities? Danica Patrick is considering doing the same thing next year by racing in the Indy 500 and then flying out to run the Coca-Cola 600.
That may be just a bit ambitious, but I hope she pulls off the daily double with a pair of wins.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Hey, SD: Check out SI. She's done that on more than one occasion.

86 is a misogynistic pig. Danica has a history of finishing in the top 10 in IRL, has a 4th place finish at Indy, and an IRL win. Lucky to finish? Hardly. She will do VERY well....

Funny how Danica can use sex to sell ads, but when I point out that she's done nothing in the NASCAR circuit I'm a mysogynist. She's over rated.

Oh, and by the way, lots of male drivers have already done the Indy-Coke 600 double (including 1x IRL champ and 3x NASCAR champ Tony Stewart) none have won both races. Danica won't be the first.SuperHornet wrote:Remember when Deion Sanders played in a football game and a baseball playoff game on the same day in two different cities? Lots? No.
Try NOBODY. Until the last year or so, the races were too close together to travel between the two. Stewart may have raced in both, but not on the same day.

Stewart did it twice, 1999 and 2001. In 2001 Tony finished 6th at Indy and 3rd at Charlotte, both on the lead lap, becoming the first driver to complete all 1,100 miles in one day.SuperHornet wrote:Lots? No.

Robby Gordon has done the double several times (7 I think).
John Andretti was the first to do it.

Re: Danica may pull a Deion....
Precisely. Danica Patrick is breaking no new ground here. Smoke did this a long time ago. He also wins races.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:On first reading I was gonna tell you that you are a moron for this comment but then saw that Bluehenis filleted you for it already.SuperHornet wrote:Lots? No.

The so-called "Smoke" hasn't won a race since 2008....

Stewart won a few weeks back:

Also won Vegas a couple of weeks before that.
Thirteen wins since 2008.

I'm calling this one.
This is like watching an armless dude trying to change a still working light bulb.
He got up on the ladder and tried to use his feets and burned them, lost his balance on the top rung while laying on his back and fell to the floor. Then he tried to get back up there and use his lips to do it, burned em' (funny, but sad too) and again fell to the floor with stinky foot burned lips.
Jesus Christ the god damn light still works so leave it the fuck alone SuperArmless!

Danica Patrick hasn't won a race since 2008, as far as I can tell, it was her only professional win.SuperHornet wrote:The so-called "Smoke" hasn't won a race since 2008....

I do yes, until I get gifs from you or emails from Ursus. Then I stop caring about racing for two or three minutes, usually followed by a nap.Vidav wrote:Do people actually care about racing?
