Re: NBA playoff predictions
So I've heard. There's a guy who's willing to front all the costs to build a new Arena for an NBA and/or NHL team in SoDo. Already approved by the mayor, going through the rest of the hoops right now.SDHornet wrote:Personally I think it’s a classless shirt, but very appropriate for the conversation at hand.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:![]()

Besides, rumors are Seattle has a shot to land the Kings when they leave Sac so Seattle might have an NBA team again in the near future.

Re: NBA playoff predictions
Their owner, the Maloofs, had a more then reasonable arena deal in hand, backed by tax payer money and NBA loans and balked. Their reasons is they didn't want to pay out of their pocket for the concession employees, and thought a 30 year lease (standard length) was unacceptable. They never had any intention of keeping the Kings in Sac through all these 12th hour negotiations. it's quite comical when you think about it.dal4018 wrote:I thought the Kings are remaining in Cali?????SDHornet wrote: Personally I think it’s a classless shirt, but very appropriate for the conversation at hand.

Nice. The Warriors just fronted the money for a new waterfront arena in SF. That place will be sweet too.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:So I've heard. Cheap bastards and Kevin Johnson went to the mat to keep them in Cali and they balked because they didn't want to pay lousy concessions to the employees your right it's beyond comical!!!!Pissed me off when they dropped the tab for the Monarchs as well!!!SDHornet wrote:Their owner, the Maloofs, had a more then reasonable arena deal in hand, backed by tax payer money and NBA loans and balked. Wade's not that important to me to watch his news conference. Re: NBA playoff predictions
Heat and Thunder are still alive for my finals prediction. I'm picking OKC over the Spurs. The Spurs have been hot, but the timeoff may have caused some rust to form on the old guy.
Note to Dally: Don't see anyone beating the Heat, they should flop to the finals.

Why would I, it's only entertainment. I'd be upset if something bad happened to one of my family or friends.dal4018 wrote:But if the Heat "flopped"their way to another title then you would be upset of course!!!!!!!Gil Dobie wrote:

Now that they will reside in a city where its residence actually work and have more money to blow, I think the Warriors will improve in every aspect.dal4018 wrote:Now if the product would play as sweet as its new home everything would be fine!!!!SDHornet wrote: Nice.
