Phil Steele put out a FCS 2011 College Football Preview last year, and it was great! The only preseason magazine dedicated to the FCS.

Seems like a lot of folks showed more than just a passing interest in FCS football last year, and he put one out. If the same amount of people show that kinda' interest, and let his Company know that they want this to be a regular thing, I think he'll keep putting the FCS mag out!

So, I'd suggest contacting the school(s) you support, and ask them to get in touch with Phil Steele...ask him to keep publishing his FCS magazine!

Phil Steele is interviewed on the radio in Norfolk once a week and he said that last year's FCS edition did terribly. He puts a ton of time in the mag. He is hoping this year will be different. But it doesn't help the future in that big market teams are moving up (GSU, ODU, UTSA, UNCC, etc.).

I don't follow Norfolk radio on a regular basis, and I'm sorry I missed his interviews! ;)

I thought the FCS edition he put out last season was terrific! I got a copy, and I plan on getting this year's edition, too!

Maybe I'm the one that should retire...

I don't know that I've ever seen ANY pre-season preview mag on ANY level (even NFL) talk about point spreads. Those are applicable to individual games, not an entire season. And setting a spread on Week 10 games before the season starts is about as valuable as a pre-season poll. It's just not appropriate here.

If you want to talk spreads, find a guru who has a weekly email newsletter.

OK, I was on the Phil Steele website order form and I don't see any FCS magazine available for advance sale. Do I have to call in or what?
