Since when is Dennis Miller a conservative? In THIS case, however, he speaks the TRUTH!

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Miller has been a conk for decades. Eva Longhoria was on Maher the other night. I mistook her for a Kardashian. She's hot. :thumb:

O'Reilly: "You can hit him with oblique references he doesn't understand."

Miller: "Like balancing the budget?"

Miller's a lot funnier than that Donk douchebag Al Franken and Ultradouchebag Bill Maher. But we've been down that road before. :coffee:

As a gelatinous centrist I agree with IT that Miller is much funnier than Franken. Tie broken, Miller > Franken by a 2-1 vote of a bipartisan panel.

I've never really thought of Maher as funny. I don't really watch him (or any talking heads) anymore but I used to like the way he would put people on the spot and his politics are relatively obvious and easy enough to ignore.
Being wrong about a topic is called post partisanism - kalm

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

I actually like Miller and think he's a better comedian than both. Franken's genius was in writing and Maher, as you note, is quite good with interviews and conversations. His stand up and monologue are terrible. Maher and Franken are more satirists or humorists than comedians.

Miller funny? C'mon partisans, he gave up on comedy too many years ago.

A boring POS partisan hack IMO.

But I can understand how one like SH would think he is funny..

For a nonpartisan explanation of the nature of humor, take a look at philosopher Henri Bergson's Laughter: Essays on the Nature of the Comic. Bergson teaches that comedy is actually emotionally detached from its object, and that it can't be understood outside the context of the society that generates it.

I agree. Try explaining the "humor" of CS.com to a nonmember!

But of course Jon Stewart is just hilarious, aint he?

I thought Miller's rants were pure genius well before I ever realized he was a conservative.

Dont be like a lefty Limbaugh, Wedgie.... like a busted shopping cart with a squeaky wheel that pulls to the left no matter what direction it is facing.

Don't lower yourself to this carbuncle's ass squeezings, he is high school talent, I went to a small school and there were at least six guys funnier than him, not including me. ;)

Don't defend the douche, it dissipates you.

I disagree. I think both Miller and Franken are funnier when they aren't being political. Miller is better at stand up, Franken at writing.

I think Maher is very funny, as long as you aren't watching him for news.
