Side story, 6 years ago we had a neighbor move away, but they kept thier house. 6 years later, they've returned. Their little girl is now 18 years old, Coming home from college and is drop dead gorgeous.

Brother Ted,
Just wanted to write and say "THANK YOU" for what you did on 2 and 3 June. To be honest with you, "THANK YOU" doesn't even come close and I don't think there is any words that can express what you did for the wounded service members from Brooke Army Medical Center that you hosted at your home.
Not many (in fact I would be willing to bet on it that you are the only one) rock legends would invite wounded service members into their home, treat them like family and spend the whole day with them. I just can't explain the healing that you brought to them. You hosted 15 war wounded in your home! They left knowing that their sacrifices were truly appreciated.
I wish there were more American's as yourself. Knowing you schedule and that you made the time to honor our wounded service members in you own home will help do more for their road to recovery then any pill or therapy will ever accomplish.
God bless you, your family, and your friends that took the time to make this happen. You are a true blood brother in every sense of the word. If there is ever anything we can do for you please just ask. Would take a bullet for you.
