Yeah, we get that there are poor people, and it is a big problem...D1B wrote: Here's a decent article:

The discussion is about welfare and drug testing. If you think its unfair for those people receiving money from the government to be drug tested, then you truly are a retard. If they are being given money to support themselves, then they should have some personal accountability. I don't think its should be up to the government to subsidize their fucking drug habit. Is that really a crazy idea??![]()
I personally believe that continual spending on welfare just contributes to future governmental dependency, and does not do much to foster development of those individuals to better themselves. Its a temporary reactive fix that does nothing for their futures. IMO, we need to spend more money on education and other developmental programs to help kids, better educate them, and give them some direction so that they can do something with their lives in the future.
Hey dipshit, slow down you Ritalyn-addled little kid, and read my arguments. If you're gonna test the poor, test everyone who gets a gubment check - politicians, government workers, military brass, defense contractors, civilian contractors, the fucks who got bail out money, etc....
My beef is were unfairly TARGETING THE WORKING POOR, you retarded asshole.
Jesus fucking christ, maybe Joltin Joe is right about UNI.
Test em, I don't give a shit..
Government dependency? Are you aware there are strict limits on the amount of time someone can be on welfare, then it's cut off - FOR GOOD? For most, it's less than a year. Read up on the Personal Responsibility Act and you'll see welfare is no picnic.
