At the tail end of his 90 minute meeting with Russian President Dmitri Medvedev Monday, President Obama said that he would have “more flexibility” to deal with controversial issues such as missile defense, but incoming Russian President Vladimir Putin needs to give him “space.”
The exchange was picked up by microphones as reporters were let into the room for remarks by the two leaders.
The exchange:
President Obama: On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space.
President Medvedev: Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…
President Obama: This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.
President Medvedev: I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir.

This is what scares me about Barry's re-election more than anything. It's hard to believe but he is actually holding back the dam right now on govt regulations. If he is re-elected he will step out the way and the gates will be opened. And it won't be pretty.

Unless the GOP goes crazy at their convention they will trot out a completely unelectable Romney who will get buried in November. At this rate, Obama could have a major gaffe and still not have it cost him.

Unless you are in a swing state, your vote doesn't matter. Therefore, just vote for who you want. I would suggest Ron Paul. Why vote the LESSER of two evils

Some things need to be regulated. Take fishing for instance. I remember tman posting an article about how Obama was going to take away our sport fishing rights. Do you think there's still a chance of the happening in the 2nd term?HI54UNI wrote:This is what scares me about Barry's re-election more than anything. Wikileaks: Obama accepted campaign cash from the Russians in 2008.
No more Polish missile shield program... Coincidence?

If Obama keeps making statements like this Romney won't have to worry about motivating the base...he could win but he'll need a few breaks.bluehenbillk wrote:Unless the GOP goes crazy at their convention they will trot out a completely unelectable Romney who will get buried in November.
