You would have had a much better chance if CAA officials would allow a little more physical play. In a women's CAA game if two players get within 4 inches of one another the refs call a foul. Drexel and Hofstra beat the shit out of EDD (that scab/bruise under her eye was from the CAA championship game), as did Maryland. The refs in the Kansas game actually did a pretty consistent job calling fouls - Jayhawks were allowed to body up on EDD but were called for fouls whenever they grabbed her on entry passes.
