Hilliary 2012
Hilliary 2012
I was talking to my brother, who I always took as a conservative Republican, and he mentioned that Bill Clinton would be the best person to turn this country around. I agreed. He then said that Hilliary should run, with Bill as a great advisor, she could turn this country around. She's tough, she's ballsy and I think the shock will really help America.

Prediction: Regardless who wins the election this year, in 4 years we'll be in better shape than today. If a conk is in office, they'll boast about successful economic policies, while the donks will boast about the investments of the stimulus package and obamacare paying off in the long run. If Obama is in office, the conks will say he delayed the recovery with his fiscal policies, while the donks will say his policies saved us from oblivion and guided us to prosperity.
That's politics everybody.

U.S. National debt to GDP was about 80% when Obama entered office. It has now surpassed 100% (103% this past Jan), and it is skyrocketing. Greece hit 160% and has had to have 2 massive bailouts. There will be no one to bailout the US. We have reached a tipping point. The country is f***ed. The pending economic doom that will hit within the next decade will make the Great Depression and Recession look like child's play.youngterrier wrote:Well aren't we the optimistBDKJMU wrote:

You'll know you're fucked when the government starts confiscating gold. Napolitano's "See something, say something" will mean inform on your neighbors if you see them wearing a gold ring or watch.

Only in the sense that the ruling 1% don't give a shit about the rest of the country - and do whatever it takes to keep it that way, even being traitors to their own country (which describes most of them).

How could France have a revolution anyway? That would be the French fighting the French. Which side would surrender first?grizzaholic wrote:Didn't France forfeit that war?SuperHornet wrote:CG: Are we starting to turn into Revolutionary France?
If fascism ever comes to America, it will come in the name of liberalism. Ronald Reagan, 1975.
