That joker wanted me to send it to his office, which is a government facility. Can you say "entrapment"? :ohno:

(Granted, it's a county office in Montana. I assume it's a log cabin and everyone wears red flannel shirts and sharpens their chainsaw blades during breaks while berating the federal government and the East Coast.)

Pretty much.

Even though they're not my most memorable, they're high-profile:

1976 Men's Final Four ( I was 6 years old - but when the scoreboard came down between games to manually change the school names I thought it was the coolest thing ever)

1976 & 1996 MLB All-Star-Games

When the Cats beat the griz to end the streak.

Kirk Gibsons home run for the Dodgers

Los Angelas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs game at the coliseum in the late 80's. Only NFL game I've been too.

You'll have to forgive me on the dates, since my little stroke, I don't remember like I used to.

1. The Mattos March, 2009. The most memorable drive I've ever seen.

2. San Antonio Riders @ Orlando Thunder, 1991, the first WLAF game. Kerwin Bell was amazing, we were introduced to Jason Garrett, and the Thunder's fluorescent lime green jerseys sold like hotcakes.

3. Dallas Diamonds @ Sac Sirens, 2010. The first playoff game I've ever attended in ANY sport. The Sirens were home underdogs, but won anyway to go to the IWFL Championship Game. (Unfortunately, the Sirens lost that game to the Atlanta Xplosion.

They're referencing some beers I shipped to them via FedEx. I've been sweating bullets because the tracking was showing them in the vicinity of MN and ND over the weekend and it was colder than witches titties up there. If they sat on a truck outdoors overnight... snap, crackle, and pop. Keeping my fingers crossed so the Russian and Grizza can has free beer.

I know what is going on. I received a bottle of FireFly's finest spirits that was leaking all over the place. :D

Really? I am very sorry about that. I now know how shipping should be done after looking at 93's pack job.

Also, it is highly illegal to ship beer, wine and liquor in and out of the State of Maryland. Mail it to 93's Delaware address.

For crying out loud, Flag. #1 and #3 both happened in Sacramento, and #2 was in Orlando. If you're REALLY that deficient in geography....

1. Twins/Royals - Oct 25th 1987 - last regular season game. It was the first game I remember being at - it was louder than anything (it hurt) the Twins hit three homers in the first inning and rolled KC... great game

2. Last North Stars home game ever vs. Blackhawks in 93... 18,000 people simultaneously ready to riot and/or cry...

3. 2007 NDSU over Minnesota at the Metrodome with 30,000 Bison fans...

(There's some others - I was at every game for the North Stars cup run... until the finals, when the fairweathers got all the tickets... the first night game at Target Field... NDSU/Kansas in the NCAA Tournament... Johan Santana striking out 17 against Texas in 07, right after the bridge collapse...)
North Dakota State University Bison 2011 and 2012 National Champions

That's some good stuff, TTBF. The Twinkies of that era were freaking amazing.

National interest...

3. October, 1999---(football) Portland State's first win against Montana as a member of the Big Sky conference. You have not truly arrived in the Big Sky until you get a win over the Grizzlies.

2. December, 2003---Minnesota Vikings at Arizona Cardinals (football)...Vikings needed a win or a Green Bay loss in order to win the Central Division and get into the playoffs. With two minutes left, the Vikings were ahead by ten and the Packers were losing their game. The Cardinals then scored 11 points, including a 50 yard touchdown on 4th and forever as time ran out to steal the game. Then we found out that Farve led a fourth quarter rally in the Packer game and the Packers won, knocking us out of the playoffs.

1. July, 1985...Cleveland Indians at Chicago White Sox (baseball)...at the old Comiskey Park, Tom Seaver and Bert Blyleven were locked in a pitcher's duel. Seaver and the White Sox won 1-0 on a home run by Carlton Fisk. It was Seaver's 298th career win.

Personal interest...

3. November, 1988---Rocky Mountain College at Chadron State (football)...Rocky Mountain hadn't won a football game in almost two years, Chadron was ranked #12 in DII at the time and had some good receiver named Don Beebe. After spotting Chadron a 19-0 lead after the first quarter, Rocky Mountain rallied and won 27-19.

2. March, 1990---Rocky Mountain College at Montana-Western (basketball)...Frontier Conference championship. Game was tied at the half, after regulation and after the first overtime. Game was still tied near the end of the second overtime when Rocky Mountain threw up a last second shot that bounced four times on the back rim before falling in the basket.

1. March, 1984---Billings Central Catholic vs Butte Central Catholic at Butte, MT (basketball)---Montana State Class A basketball championship between the two biggest Catholic high schools in Montana, played in Butte, Montana the week before St. Patrick's Day. A nip and tuck game that Butte Central finally won in overtime.

I was there as a Black Hawks fan. Remember the booze bottle flying over Eddie Belfours head late the 3rd. First of thousands of items to reach the ice that night. The players had been planning to take the ice after the game to say goodbye, but were afraid after the ice got trashed by litter. The equipment manager was fired and Modano was repremanded for being involved in a "We'll Miss You Minnesota" T-shirt that appeared outside prior to the game.

.......and beside Norm Green Sucks, I heard Secord Sucks chants, even though he had not been a Black Hawk for a few seasons.
