Well I had better get my ass down the Bitterroot and tell the company that chinks houses to change their name and, if memory serves, they employ a person of Asian decent give him an apology.

People anymore are so over PC and so worried that they might offend one person.

Quoting Ursus from many lunch conversations " Bunch of fucking pussies these days. These people should all be ashamed of themselves. "
Ursus starts every sentence with one of the following:

"Back in my day...."
"I remember when...."
"When I was a kid..."

and ends every story with:

"...at the end of the day...." or
"...when all is said and done..."

With his on-court play and unselfish demeanor, the Knicks are blessed to have good point guard along side their two star Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire.
He is not a star, not even a "good point guard", just plays for a coach who has no choice but to play him. No other coach would put up with averaging 7 turnovers a game (most teams try not to have that many in a game). Felton thrived in D'Antoni's system, yet has been lost since moving on to Denver and now Portland, due to a lack of fundamentals and constant turnover problems. Nash is the only point guard from D'Antoni's system to truly become a point guard elsewhere.

The only thing that has people talking about him is that he has a perception of achieving a certain level of success, things that are magnified ten times over in the New York market, good or bad.

Sorry buddy, but perception = reality here. Can't argue with 8-1. :thumb:

I saw a pic of the guy that ESPN fired for the "chink in the armor" comment. He is Asian. By the ruling, he is unable to be racist, so why did he get fired?

looked terrible tonight. Hopefully, he learns from this and goes on another hot streak. I can see the knicks actually getting out of the first round of the playoffs. Sadly, after that doesn't look so good.

Was Mario Chalmers arrested after the game for just abusing the star formerly known as Linsanity? :coffee: :coffee:

I laughed my ass off after I saw the stat line. Can he go one game without a ton of TO's.

It would be a first, definitely. The thing about the Knicks is that they are trying so hard to be a playoff team, yet keep falling flat on their face. Amare was supposed to lead them to greatness and that was splattered all over the country. Then Melo was supposed to come in and get them there. Now Lin is supposed to be some type of superstar who Chalmers exposed as very ordinary (and Chalmers is not going to make many all-defensive teams anytime soon). Any other .500 and sub .500 teams disappear from the national stage, yet the Knicks with all their problems are always right there, good or bad.

Keep in mind that Dan Dickau had some good games in the NBA as well. No one has ever heard of him, right?

I've heard of Dickau. Part of the equation is D'Antoni, many guards play well under him and several only under him.

Well he no longer has D'Antoni as a ally he turn in his resignation before they played Portland.

Dickau came from Gonzaga in the early millenium everyone was comparing him with John Stockton.
