I missed this earlier. My posting of that picture was to disagree with your claim that people wouldn't smoke pot outside of their living rooms if it were legal. Pot is legal in Amsterdam and they have coffee shops where you can smoke it. Of course people are still going to smoke in their living rooms, but to claim they wouldn't smoke in other places if it were legal is pure folly.

You're right, GATW. I watch those COPS-type of shows often and I cringe when the officer says he can smell marijuana in the car. NOT because the perp is now busted, but, rather, at their STUPIDITY! Don't take it on the road!!!!!

Yeah, but, Hen, it's the price you and I pay for living in a free society, right? Not everyone will get caught, but, when they do, the penalties are rather stiff - and expensive. More power to the cops busting irresponsible drinkers and drivers.

You gotta be smart about it. Like me. I only do it on major interstates, not backroads where the cops can catch you easier. And, I never get SO blotto, that I'm an obvious danger, weaving in and out of busloads of kids.

IF they ever legalized pot I would imagine that clause would be in there. But you were responding to my claim that people would be smoking pot in a lot more places than their own living room if it were legal. This was all in response to a wild claim that if pot were legal people wouldn't be out and about smoking it. IMO that's a weak claim.
