Geithner is a Republican

I'd be very surprised but I'm a registered Independent...so maybe

We know he's a tax cheat, a wall street guy and based on the story below he has a sense of humor
Now Bronco, I don't think it's fair to lump all conks together as tax cheating Wall Street cheerleaders. Just like I don't think it's fair to insinuate that a sense of humor suggests conk leanings. Plenty of Donks are guilty of financial malfeasance and 99% of all comedians are liberal.

But here's another good example of why one must turn in their conservative card immediately if they think Geithners economic policies wouldn't make a Republican proud. :nod:

Exactly what Geithner policies do you think are patently Republican?

He followed the Bush/Bernanke/Greenspan/Reagan playbook...almost exactly. :nod:

No, I didn't. I don't have the time right now. But it's been reported numerous times by various Whitehouse insiders that Geithner a.k.a. "Wall Streets guy in the Whitehouse" constantly turned away a more progressive economic approach at every turn. He's pushed for lower taxes and low regulation all along. It's no wonder either considering he was Larry Summers protege and worked for the Bush administration.

:lol: at you conks who can't stomach the fact that one of the realties of the Obama administration is maintaining the economic status quo. Bail out the banksters first, and maybe the average Joe will come out alright in the end.

Obama = centrist
Geithner = moderate republican

I'm not a conk. I'm a libertarian/Libertarian.

Obama is hardly a centrist. He's a collectivist.

Larry Summers worked in the Clinton administration, along with Bob Rubin.

I apologize for calling you a conk I should no better. :oops:

Obama is a centrist who has kept taxes low and favors financial monoplies. :dunce:

The Clinton administration, especially Summers and Rubin, was all about the deregulation and top down economics. :nod:

And all of the rational independents who (unlike me) will vote him into a second term this November. :coffee:

He hasn't kept taxes low at all. He is pursuing or has already implemented a variety of income, administrative and consumption taxes.

I stand corrected. He has back doored taxes on smokes, healthcare, and proposed raising taxes on investment almost all of which haven't taken affect yet so on second thought he has kept taxes low so far. Kind of reminiscent of Reagan who everyone remembers as a low tax limited government guy who spent and raised taxes 11 times while in office.
