Same with reproductive rights and gay marriage. Conks conveniently forget that old "government that governs least" shit.

I could care less what it does to the abuse or addiction rate. If the abuse/addiction rate goes down, no problem. If the abuse rate goes up and loads of crackheads die, that's fine too.
However, I don't want to be paying for Joe Douchebag's heart transplant because he couldn't stay off the pipe.
Personally, I like the idea of legalized narcotics, because the idea of Cappy and D bitching and moaning about the taxes making a pack of ganja cigarettes cost $40 a pack is just too delicious to contemplate.

Not criminal problems Clenz, all health problems. Remove the stigma surrounding treatment and threat of incarceration for use and you can turn more of these people into clean cut, productive members of society. Probably start voting conk too.clenz wrote:I'm all for weed....however, heroine, cocaine, meth, etc... still seem like a bad idea all around.

Never mind taking the profit out of trafficking. We could cut back on border patrol and, with taxation, balance the budget because of weed!kalm wrote:Not criminal problems Clenz, all health problems. I've said this before, the only reason weed and other drugs aren't legal is because they are not in the Bible like wine and liquor. Same thing with masturbation - some asshole 3000 years ago thought it was icky, it got into the Bible and now there's a stigma around a perfectly healthy, normal activity.

Most of the increased border patrol is mainly due to terror paranoia.Cap'n Cat wrote:[Never mind taking the profit out of trafficking. We could cut back on border patrol and, with taxation, balance the budget because of weed!

Wrong. Bully for Portugal. Fewer stoners, but the country is still a freaking basket case that is just a rung or two above Greece on the guvmint dependency bandwagon.

Absolutely. Haven't you seen the teeth whitening commercials? Yellow teeth can keep you from getting a job or a mate. Lose an arm and you get workmans comp.Vidav wrote:Discolored teeth is worse than losing an arm?

Think about it. How hot would that model in your avatar be if she had yellow teeth? I wouldn't touch her with your dick.Vidav wrote:I hate you.89Hen wrote: Absolutely. Heroin doesn't cause arms to fall off.Vidav wrote:Discolored teeth is worse than losing an arm?
Reusing needles cause infection and then arms start to fall off.
If you inject coffee with infected needles. Your arm will fall off as well.
Syringe laws would hopefully be part of decriminalization of drugs..... making clean needles easier to acquire. The "heroin makes your arm fall off" argument is a red crap.
