I never had a player on the team, did not go to TxSt (note the correct nomenclature) and am not a booster (can't afford it.)
My daughter went to TxSt where she got her BA and MA in Sociology with minors in psychology and women and gender studies. She was a grad asst and did teach some of the players here and there.
I am, if nothing else, a loyal fan to a team I support. I have always loved football and when my daughter went to TxSt (it was still SWT when she started) this was a natural progression for me. I went to the banquet because Blake Burton's (FB) mom has become a friend of mine and she is so impressed I support the team, having never had a son on it, she bought me 2 tickets to attend.
I also am the CenTex rep for a NFL talent evaluator/scout and have talked on the phone with some of the players and/or their families. We (I use that lightly) are attempting to get some of these seniors (6 in particular) a chance to show their stuff at a pro day (as TxSt's will consist only of a timed 40)
As for the pictures - well, what can I say? It's ok to window shop as long as you don't stop to make a purchase. I ain't dead yet!!
