Afghan = bring the troops home gradually? Why are they there now? Why did Obama greatly INCREASE our troops there? 1874 of our troops killed so far in Afghanistan...630 under Bush...1244 killed under Obama's watch...927 of them in the last two years.

So tell me, what have we accomplished in Afghnistan since 2009? Are the Taliban gone? Have we separated them from their links with Pakistan? Is there any real sense of an ethical government in place in Kabul? Are we any closer to having a stable Afghan country after we pull out? How about a year from now? Or how about 2014?

And Libya...SA-7s and SA-24s are missing...about 15,000 of the 20,000 that were in Libya's arsenals before we started bombing. Woo-hoo! Not a threat to military aircraft, but you can bet a few civilian airliners will be coming down in the next few years. But hey, let's just start bombing Quadaffi because it will look good on someone's record.

First, I don't give two shits what happens in Iraq. I stopped reading about it when our combat troops pulled out. They can do what they want as long as they don't let Al-Qaeda reside there.

And we need troops in Affy to keep our drone campaign in Pakistan going. Apparently Obama wants to set the record for most "terrorists" killed. And there are two kinds of Taliban, not just the one in Affy. We should negotiate with them in order to at least try to somewhat stabilize the country.

When a civilian airliner goes down in Libya, PM me please. I don't get why you don't like giving people a chance with freedom. Let Libya, Egypt, and Tunisia find their own paths. The dictators are gone and Assad is next. A world without dictators is a better one imo.

I don't see this as bullshit. Iran wants to be relevant and the only way is to have a nuclear bomb. Plus, they see Israel has them and isn't in the NPT.
