Yale's New Head Coach

Post by Ivytalk »

Will be soon-to-be-former Harvard assistant Tony Reno. Painful process of elimination or, rather, self-elimination of candidates with HC experience (reportedly including Bob Shoop, Don Brown, Kevin Kelly).Actually, Reno was a Yale assistant several years ago before moving to Harvard.

Maybe the ex-Harvard Factor will help Yale in The Game in future years, like the way Tim Taylor turned Yale's ice hockey program around.

Harvard has won 10 of the last 11 Games and 6 straight in New Haven.

Great game in '99. Sprig Ivy and I were there. Hope Reno does well. He never would have called The Fake Punt. 8-)
