Obama doesn't so much change his stripes as not show them completely. Obama likes to speak in broad generalities so that the party faithful can interpret his words in the way they want. That leads each of the many special interest groups to interpret that Obama was/is going to champion their causes. They feel betrayed when he doesn't.

It's funny because Newt came in first but I think he would probably be a terrible President. But is was accurate to some degree because O'Bama came in dead last.

I agree! People should learn to be born with a silver spoon and have everything. Then the world owes them nothing. Good thing good thing farmers, defense contractors, and health insurance companies know who their daddy is.
